Podem me chamar de chata, mas eu ainda não consigo pensar sem um estranhamento na tradução de “Long Tail” para “Cauda Longa”. Tudo bem, a tradução é literal e eu não tenho nenhuma sugestão melhor, mas acho estranho chegar em uma livraria e perguntar pela “Cauda Longa”…

Traduções à parte, não deixe de ler esse livro, seja em inglês ou português. Ele fala sobre as implicações que o espaço virtualmente ilimitado de prateleiras nas lojas online e seus sistemas de recomendação têm no mercado e traz uma visão muito inspirada sobre o futuro da economia dos hits.

Цели создания учебных компьютерных центров в России
К обучению в области современных информационных технологий в России подходят неправильно. Ещё В.Э.Фигурнов своей книгой “IBM PC для пользователя (краткий курс)” высказал идею того, что компьютер нужен не для программирования, а для облегчения повседневных задач миллионов конечных пользователей. Книга стала бестселлером и проложила путь к компьютеру сотням тысяч молодых напористых людей (их можно назвать вторым поколением пользователей компьютеров, пришедшим на смену “аксакалам”, управлявшим большими и средними машинами начала компьютерной эры).
Идея Фигурнова, к сожалению, была рассмотрена нашим министерством образования через призму финансовых проблем перестроечного и постперестроечного периода, когда школы не были укомплектованы компьютерной техникой. В результате появился курс теоретической информатики, оперирующий понятиями бита, байта, файла, алгоритма, программного кода Basic или Pascal, что сильно исказило идею Фигурнова.
Многие современные авторы восприняли книгу Фигурнова, её строй и состав как образец для подражания. Прилавки России завалены самоучителями-клонами. В первой части книги рассматривается аппаратурный состав, во второй - DOS и Norton-подобные оболочки, в третьей установка Windows, потом “прогулка по рабочему столу”, немного работы с текстом в редакторе MS Word, чуть-чуть электронных таблиц MS Excel (обычно рассматриваются операции сортировки и фильтрации), прослушивание музыки в mp3, может быть рисование в Paint. Такого рода литература прижилась в отечественных институтах и даже утверждена в них рабочими программами. При этом никто не замечает, что под одной обложкой собраны две принципиально разные книги, ориентированные на разную аудиторию: “Системный администратор Windows” и “Стартовый курс пользователя”.
К счастью стоимость компьютерной техники в последнее время снизилась, она стала доступна и широким слоям населения. К компьютеру уже тянутся миллионы людей разных возрастов. То есть мы подошли к формированию третьего поколения пользователей компьютеров. Они садятся работать за компьютеры с уже настроенной операционной системой, их изначальный комфорт обеспечивается системными администраторами из второго поколения. Этим людям нужно решать производственные задачи связанные с набором и оформлением текстов, добавлением таблиц… Это открыло путь моему Букварю и моим компьютерным курсам с их главной идеей - научить работать на компьютере можно почти любого желающего, при условии хорошего методического обеспечения образовательного процесса.
На момент написания этих строк мои технологии обучения с той или иной полнотой заимствованы фирмами-конкурентами в Туле, Ясногорске, Венёве, Москве. У кого-то результаты деятельности лучше, у кого-то - хуже. Статистическая выборка сейчас мала, но осмелюсь утверждать, что именно “лоскутность” заимствования технологий организации компьютерных курсов создала проблемы у некоторых фирм. Будет желание вложить деньги, силы, время и душу в создание собственного учебного центра компьютерных технологий милости просим в нашу, пока небольшую, семью “медвежьих” компьютерных центров.
P.S. Многим специалистам в области компьютерных технологий, особенно тем, кто начинал ещё на Robotron 2110 (HDD - 20Mb, RAM - 512Kb), ЕС1840 (HDD - не было, RAM - 640Kb, это была вторая машина в моей жизни, чем горжусь) кажется, что уж лучше них никто не может объяснить, как работать с компьютером. Это не совсем так. Опыт работы - это одно, а методика преподавания - другое. Так что не будьте слишком самонадеяны, почитайте приведенные ниже материалы.
